The island's only Relais & Chateaux hotel, set in 60 hectares of privately owned land and boasting a unique natural fish reserve.
Situated on a remote peninsula this all suite hotel is surrounded by a tranquil lagoon, the Indian Ocean and is fringed by beautiful beaches. Junior suites are housed in small chalets or two storey buildings, some elevated on stilts; Senior Suites are either beachfront with private heated swimming pools or elevated on stilts in the lagoon and the acclaimed Princely Suite has its own infinity pool.
The hotel takes its name from the famous Dutch Governor and pioneer of the spice trade “Prince Maurice Van Nassau”, which is also where the name Mauritius derives from. Set on the North East cost of Mauritius, Le Prince Maurice sits amongst 60 hectare's of private land which is fringed by pristine white beaches.
Eighty-nine impressively spacious suites are harmoniously positioned within the surrounding natural habitat. Natural woods and granite have also been sculptured into the design of each suite, which complements the crisp naturally white linens in each room.
There is a Guerlain Spa for those all important relaxing beauty treatments, a health club and a fabulous infinity swimming pool, as well as plenty of land and water sports facilities. For children (and parents), there is the “Les Petits Princes” children's club which is open from 09h00 to 21h00.

L'Archipel– Located in the main part of the hotel the restaurant opens for all meals. Overlooking the pool and ocean, the tables are placed in three separated areas giving you the option to either dine alfresco or inside. There is an a la carte menu offering light yet spicy food.
Le Barachois- The hotel's floating restaurant opens for dinners only. A unique touch is that you enter the restaurant via a wooden walkway through lush vegetation and mangrove trees. True to the local Mauritian style the cuisine incorporates native produce, meats and wonderful fresh seafood.
The Beach Deck– A wonderful alfresco lunch venue with wrought iron tables and chairs placed on a wooden deck. There is an a la carte menu and seats for up to 40 guests. The restaurant also opens for special evening events.

Le Prince Maurice will work with us to choose the right location for your wedding, and as part of the package they will arrange a variety of complimentary gifts on arrival. Terms and conditions apply, wedding package prices are on request.

The children's club, aptly named “Les Petits Princes", opens from 09h00 to 21h00 and will entertain children from 4 to 12 years of age. The facilities consist of a games room, dining area and private pool. Both indoor and outdoor activities are organised daily under supervision and children's menus are also available on request. Babysitting facilities are available at an additional cost.
FREE Golf Green Fees
All guests receive FREE green fees at both the Legend and Links golf courses. Also receive a free Club Car on the Links course. Golf club rental, Caddie fees, practice balls and Club Car fees (for the Legend course) apply and will be charged locally. Valid 01 Jan - 31 Dec 2012.
