Erratum: The golf course at Abama will have its annual maintenance between 06 - 26 May 2013 and 16th Sept - 7th Oct 2013 which will include aeration of the greens - the course will be playable but the quality will not be as high as normal, so there will be reduced green fees and a golf offer during this period. Dates for 2014 are 28 Apr - 18 May 2014 and 15 Sept - 05 Oct 2014.
The golf course is also fully booked on the following dates: 8th June 2013, 4th & 5th October 2013, 21st & 22nd March 2014 and 17th May 2014.
The Tagor' Villas are reserved for adults only with a quiet pool area next to the villas. During the day, wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks are served poolside on a complimentary basis.
M.B Restaurant
M.B. is the signature restaurant of Martin Berasategui a 3 Michelin star chef who is a passionate cook with a creative mind. His influences have been passed on to the hotel's chef who has recently earned his first Michelin star, so, as you can imagine, the food at M.B is first class.
M.B. will be closed between 16 Jun - 17 Jul 2013 inclusive.
Kabuki
The hotel's Japanese restaurant, which in 2012 was awarded a Michelin Star, offers a superb choice of sushi, sashimi and tempura as well as speciality ingredients, such as Wagyu Kobe beef and locally caught bluefish. These are combined with modern Western culinary techniques to create a very special experience.
Kabuki will be closed between 01 Sept - 03 Oct 2013 inclusive.
Restaurant El Mirador
El Mirador is a set high up on the cliff tops with stunning panoramic Ocean views across to the island of La Gomera. Balinese in architecture, this is the place to head if you are partial to the mouth-watering locally sourced seafood. With its own infinity pool and terrace area, this is a magical place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail before indulging in some fine cuisine.
Restaurant Pampa Verona
Italy meets Argentina at this elegant and welcoming restaurant where fresh Italian pasta can be followed by an authentic Argentinean steak cooked on the parilla.
La Veranda Restaurant
This is a beautiful place to start the day with a glass of champagne and a fresh cup of coffee before indulging in the sumptuous buffet breakfast, all of this enhanced by the fine views from the terrace. The Veranda Restaurant will also be open for buffet dinners at certain times of year, from 6-10pm.
Restaurant Los Chozos
Situated next to the main swimming pool this more informal restaurant serves light snacks and refreshments throughout the day. For those in search of something more substantial then the heartier dishes are served in the main dining area of Los Chozos. This is where you can sample the local Canarian dishes such as Papas Arrugadas with its hot and spicy mojo sauce.
Tapas Wine Bar
Wine connoisseurs can explore 20 grape varieties representing every area of Spain and the Canaries in the hotel’s Wine Bar, which also serves delicious traditional Spanish tapas to accompany the wines.
Casa Club
Set in the heart of the hotels golf course offering the perfect spot to stop mid-way through your golfing day for a cool refreshing drink and a light lunch.
Spa Cafe
After an indulgent spa treatment or a strenuous gym work-out, unwind in the spa cafe, serving a variety of refreshing herbal teas and fruit juices. For those who have chosen the Abama Total Wellness program the Spa Cafe is one of the dining options available.

Children are very well catered for at the Abama Golf & Spa Resort with a great choice of children’s facilities. The recently upgraded (August 2012), supervised children’s club (Club Abami) is open daily from 10am until midnight* providing a great source of entertainment and activity for little ones aged 4–12 yrs. There is capacity for 100 children with eight diverse "zones" created to develop and challenge your little ones' minds. Everything from local wildlife, arts & crafts and theatrical skills to astronomy, sustainability and the latest technology. Downtime activities include a Relax & Nap zone, a fish-shaped library, movies and gaming consoles.
Children aged 3yrs and under are also able to attend the kids club, however they must be accompanied by a parent or a babysitter (available at an extra hourly cost).
* Club Abami is free of charge for children aged 4-12yrs between 10am and 6pm. After 6pm there is a charge of €8 per child per hour, until midnight when the club closes. During the evening sessions, dinner service is available from the in-room dining menu at €14 + tax per child. All evening session charges will be added to guests' bills on departure.
