Marigot Bay has provided a safe haven for yachts over the centuries and marina docks provide for visiting luxury yachts. In recent years, the bay has become a very well-known holiday destination with lively local restaurants and bars, a marina and now a luxury, eco-friendly hotel with a spa, fine dining and harbour-side bars.

Discovery at Marigot Bay Hotel, a member of Leading Small Hotels of the World, offers 57 suites (half have private plunge pools) and 67 rooms which are built into a tropical hillside with dramatic views of the sea and the harbour. All units can be one, two or three bedroom suites offering ideal accommodation for both couples and families.

A charming marina sits at the base of the resort, offering restaurants, shops, entertainment and access to the beach which is a two-minute ferry ride from the resort.

Some of the Resort View accommodations are at ground floor level making them more easily accessible to guests with mobility issues or young children. All top floor rooms and suites (subject to availability) and all Penthouse Suites feature handsome four poster beds and dramatic high ceilings with exposed beams.

Bay View Room

Bay View Rooms provide an excellent view of Marigot Bay and the lush landscaped gardens. Bay View rooms are stylish, contemporary, and replete with unpretentious luxury. Relax on the balcony and watch as magnificent yachts, water taxis and Marigot Bay Hotel's own Sunshine Express solar powered ferry move about in harmony across the clear, calm waters of the inner bay. Penthouse Suites have been carefully positioned higher on the Marigot Bay hillside to offer commanding views of the bay, the surrounding lush green hillsides, and the wider expanse of the Caribbean Sea. Spacious and replete with unpretentious luxury, the Penthouse Suites are perfect for those looking for the ultimate in privacy and comfort. Every suite features a four-poster bed, high beamed ceilings in the bedroom, its own private outdoor Jacuzzi off the main living room, and a full, well-appointed kitchen. Louvres and doors open out in the bedrooms and living rooms affording spectacular views and cooling breezes. A choice of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Penthouse Suites is available, all featuring a wide range of luxury amenities.

The Boudreau Restaurant is named after Walter Boudreau, the legendary schooner captain who sailed into Marigot Bay and built the first hotel fifty years ago. Hurricane Hole Bar, take a step back in time and enjoy a cooling drink and boh lunch and informal dinner at the historic Hurricane Hole Bar - a popular haunt for yachties in days gone by and restored to its former glory with original lighting and signage.

Pink Snail Bar is a chic champagne bar, themed around the original "Dr. Dolittle" movie, which was filmed at Marigot Bay 40 years ago. The Pink Snail Bar features a unique pink glass and resin bar.
