Set in 70 acres of award winning tropical gardens, the hotel, offers a wide range of contemporary accommodation ranging from Superior/Deluxe Rooms to Family Apartments and Suites. For families there are interconnecting rooms and Family Apartments with two bedrooms. All the accommodation is a stone’s throw from the beach and all have sea views although some may be restricted by trees.
The hotel also has a spa with 20 treatment rooms for exotic treatments and a massage is included for every adult during their stay. One of the practical points about this hotel is that it is only a fifteen minute drive from the airport, which means you can relax into your holiday immediately and enjoy its facilities to the last minute. Each day here can be filled with land or water based activities for all generations.
There is a fabulous sailing club, which is a member of the Mauritius Yachting Association and is accredited by the International Sailing Association (ISA). The hotel also runs a Sport and Nature programme, there is a fee for this, which combines the islands fascinating wildlife with energetic pursuits such a mountain biking, trekking, canoeing and abseiling. The programme also runs full and half day trips to Ile aux Aigrettes, twenty five hectares of wildlife sanctuary, which boast the almost extinct pink pigeon. The hotel also offers the opportunity for guests to experience kite surfing nearby with lessons for beginners and challenging conditions for more seasoned kite surfers - this is available at an additional cost as it's not run by the hotel.
For children, there is the complimentary Bob Marlin Mini Club for three to twelve year olds. Diving for certified divers and lessons are not included in the Serenity Plus All Inclusive package and are available at an extra cost.

Le Grand Port - Opening onto the ocean and hotel’s pool, this is the hotels main restaurant seating up to 320 people. There are two separate terraces giving a slightly different dining experience. The cuisine is influenced by exotic Mauritian flavours mixed with oriental spices and Creole condiments.
Le Sirus - Seats up to 150 people, overlooking the pool and the lagoon of Blue Bay. Excellent International cuisine is service here and the restaurant is open for all meals, including lights bites.
Porto Vecchio -This Mediterranean and Italian restaurant is decorated aptly in a rustic burnt orange linen and wrought iron. This is a relaxing place to dine for lunch or dinner with only 100 seats.
Le Boucanier - An intimate haven of only 70 seats, with the personalised attention of the Chef, this is a great choice for a romantic evening. The décor is rustic and the speciality is seafood.
The newest addition to Shandrani Resort is the Thai restaurant, The Teak Elephant, that offers a sumptuous variety of eastern cusine. Next to Le Sirus it is only open for dinner on an a la carte basis.

Shandrani guarantees only one wedding per day in Mauritius. From flowers to live music … a wedding planner is available on site to assist with arrangements. With over twenty five years experience organising weddings, they will do their up most to exceed your expectations.
Take your wedding vows in the hotels tropical gardens or maybe a gazebo on the beach would suit or for an intimate affair the terrace or balcony of your suite. There is no need to worry about your little ones, because at Shandrani, there is the fabulous 'Bob Marlin Mini club', which is complimentary to all hotel guests and available to all children aged 3 - 12 years.
A team of highly skilled and qualified staff will keep your children entertained for hours. Each day there is a planned itinerary of fun and educational activities, for example how to make a photo frame, body painting sessions, drawing competitions, initiation to golf and lots more inspirational things to do.
A babysitting service is also available at the hotel at a minimum cost. 24-hours notice is, however, required to secure the babysitter.
