The Verandahs pristine setting incorporates breathtaking scenery where hidden sandy beaches lead to clear turquoise waters. It is a place that doesn't seem to have quite caught up with the 21st century.

This 200 room luxury family style resort is situated on 30 spectacular waterfront acres, hidden away on the untouched north-east coast of Antigua. It lies adjacent to a designated National Park and incorporates marked nature trails, a powder soft white sand beach and a crystal clear bay perfect for swimming. The beauty spot of Devils Bridge lies a brief walk away, whilst uninhabited islets like Green Island and Bird Island can be reached in just a few minutes by boat.

The Verandah itself has been designed with this breathtaking setting in mind, its lush landscaping incorporating indigenous palms, plants and stone. Natural materials are used wherever possible throughout its sprawling, low rise construction, whilst as much as possible overlooks the protected waters of the turquoise bay.

Hillside Suite

Classic Caribbean style rooms with modern comforts and amenities. These rooms are spacious and comfortable with a private verandah and relaxing views. Vaulted ceilings create a sense of spaciousness, and elegant touches like cool, granite countertops, wood, bamboo and rattan, bring nature indoors. Convenient exterior connecting doors between adjoining units make it easy for family and friends to stay together. Max occ: up to 4 adults or 2 Adults, 2 children.

Water View and Water Front Suite

All of the spacious Water View and Water Front Suites blend classic Caribbean style with modern comforts. Many of the villas are oceanfront and all enjoy stunning views of the bay and distant ocean. Each single story duplex is approximately 700 sq ft in, the combined living and sleeping areas can comfortably accommodate four people, whilst exterior connecting doors between adjoining units means easy access for family and friends. Max occ: up to 4 adults or 2 Adults, 2 children.

Family Suite

The Family Suites are made up of 2 interconnecting Water View Suites, giving 2 bedrooms and 2 lounge areas. These suites interconnect via the verandah and would therefore suit families with older children. Max occ: 4 adults, 4 children.

Two-Bedroom Family Room

This stand alone 2-bedroom family accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms and a larger living area. Ideal for families with younger children. Max occ: 4 adults and 2 children.

Dining at The Verandah is a distinctly tropical experience. The informal bistro serves Caribbean specialties and international favourites, whilst the marina themed restaurant showcases fresh seafood such as mahi mahi, dorado and lobster.

Kids even have a dedicated restaurant at the resort, meal times enhanced by delicious juices and favourite movies. Naturally adults will be more interested in the five cocktail bars and live evening entertainment, although room service is just a phone call away for couples preferring to dine on their Verandahs in romantic seclusion.

Weddings

The Verandah is the ideal place for a romantic wedding or honeymoon with the perfect beachfront setting. Free weddings are available to guests who stay for 12 nights or more.

Honeymoons

Honeymooners receive sparkling wine and flowers on arrival and a free room upgrade if available.

Children are welcome year round. There is a fantastic childrens club, complete with a pirate ship playground and a childrens pool.
